This year, applying to join the Fellowship is easier than ever!

Just click here to get started - you’ll be taken to an online form where you can enter your basic contact information, and asked three questions:

    - Why do you want to be in the fellowship?

    - How will your participation in the fellowship benefit your community?

        and

    - Do you already have your team together?

Each applicant must apply as part of a team of 2 - 3 individuals. The other members of your team should also answer the questions. You can copy the link to this page:  http://www.hncpartners.org/HNCP/HNCF_Application.html  - and email it to your team members so they can visit and complete their own letters of interest. If you don’t have your team together yet, go ahead and send in your letter of interest, and we’ll provide some information on how you might find your team.

All members of your team should have their letters of interest submitted by August 15, 2009.

What happens next?

After you and your other team members complete and submit your letters of

interest, the Fellowship staff will review them and send you information about the

next steps:

1. 1)    Supporting Documents - due by September 15, 2009
   

          -Two (2) letters of Recommendation

          -One (1) Letter of Support from CEO of your organization

          -One (1) Signed Supervisor Agreement Form

2. 2)    Setting up an interview for you - either in-person or on the phone with Fellowship
   

         alumni from your local area  - must be completed by Sepember 30, 2009

3. 3)    Your application and interview will be reviewed by a panel made up of tribal leaders from across the country. This selection committee will meet in October 2009

4. 4)    Selected Applicant Teams will be notified by November, 2009

5. 5)    2010 Fellowship class will begin January, 2010
